Ingredients:

  • Fresh chicken pieces (like chicken thighs or drumsticks)
  • Potatoes, cut into fries
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Herbs and spices
  • Flour, for coating the chicken
  • Egg, beaten
  • Breadcrumbs

Instructions:

  1. Start by making some delicious fries. Rinse the potato fries under cold water to get rid of excess starch, then pat them dry. Heat up some vegetable oil in a pan or fryer and fry those fries until they turn golden brown and crispy. Take them out of the oil and let them drain on a paper towel. Season them with salt and pepper to your liking.
  2. In a separate bowl, season the chicken pieces with a sprinkle of salt and pepper and the herbs and spices. Coat each piece with flour, dip them into the beaten egg, and then cover them in breadcrumbs for a crispy coating.
  3. Heat up some vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Carefully place the breaded chicken pieces into the hot oil and fry them until they’re golden brown and cooked through. Make sure the oil is hot enough to give you that perfect crunch.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, take it out of the oil and let it drain on a paper towel to get rid of any excess oil.
