Ingredients
  

  • 2 large cauliflower heads
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Adore Chilies Chipotle Chilli Sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garnish optional:
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley
  • Lime wedges

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Trim the leaves and stem of each cauliflower head, leaving the core intact.
  • Cut each cauliflower head into 4 thick "steaks" by slicing vertically from top to bottom. You should have 8 cauliflower steaks in total.
  • Season both sides of the cauliflower steaks with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the Cauliflower Steaks:
  • Once the oil is hot, carefully place the cauliflower steaks in the skillet.
  • Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they develop a golden-brown crust. This step adds flavour and texture to the steaks.
  • Once the cauliflower steaks are seared, brush a generous amount of the Chipotle Chili Sauce onto one side of each cauliflower steak, coating them evenly.
  • Transfer the cauliflower steaks to the prepared baking sheet with the Chipotle sauce side up.
  • Bake the cauliflower steaks in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until they are tender and the sauce has caramelized slightly.
  • Remove the cauliflower steaks from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley if desired. Serve hot with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavour.
